5 Men’s Fashion Creators I Follow

All you do in life is influenced greatly by what’s in your heart.

Hi there Stylish Friends,

It’s been a while since I shared something. Summer in Japan is in full swing and it is very hot. The other day I was thinking, which Instagram pages do I go to when I am looking for fashion tips? I soon found out I have my go-to’s and wanted to share them with you. The best way to get more into fashion and to learn more about it is to follow others. Preferably people that go a bit out of your comfort zone in terms of style. After all, ‘no change, no progress’.

StreetandGentle - Philipp Hehmann

I have been following this Germany-based menswear and lifestyle content creator for a while now. Fashion can quickly go overboard and can become hard to relate to. This guy keeps it simple, but classy. It’s easy to find his pieces and he regularly shares where he bought them, so you can actually do something with the content instead of just thinking ‘that’s cool!’

Vansatthemetgala - Christian Villanueva

Definitely deeper into the fashion world than the previous creator. I started following him after finding his Youtube channel, which is hilarious and useful at the same time. This creator’s style is about finding the limits by using unique pieces and styling them accordingly. Sure, a lot of things worn are not my style, nor would I wear them, but I definitely learn from the thought process behind them and can appreciate that Christian is rocking them.

Efe.efeturi - Efe Efeturi

This man just breathes dapper. I can really appreciate that this creator’s style is very defined and easy to get into. It is surprisingly difficult to make a classic suit look interesting. I believe that you should always find a way to create a signature style and this creator definitely does this in every fit he shows.

Adamgonon - Adam Gonon

Great content about styling certain pieces. Always trying to mix it up. I really appreciate that he covers an element most people don’t take into consideration: Height. It is often hard to tell how tall people are and Adam, in collaboration with other creators, clearly shows what fits look like with different heights. Another important factor is that he clearly shows that every body type can rock outfits. You just have to style yourself accordingly, and I respect that.

Living in Japan made me realize body type is often an issue. My body is quite different than most locals and this results in often having issues with height, arm length, shoulder width etc. Having some perspective by using different body types to display styles is super important in my opinion.

Larrylim_ - Larry Lim

This last one is more on the lifestyle side, but I think fashion and lifestyle come hand in hand. I like the aesthetic of the content and definitely take inspiration from this. The scenery around the world provides so many opportunities to think differently and that’s why I think it is important to travel as much as you can to improve your style.

Always curious to see who you follow and discover more, so please share any suggestions for content creators that you find interesting.
